our business: how your business is performing, and how to make it perform better

We help you get the kind of data and information that tells you how well your business is performing, and how to make it perform better. Like an accountant measures the financial performance of your business, we help you to measure all the aspects of performance of your business that most affect its success (like product and service quality, staff productivity, waste, rework, process efficiency, cycle time, customer perceptions, problem resolution, breakdowns in service delivery, and so on). And we help you to use these performance measures in your decision making, so you can improve your business processes and functions and ultimately your business success.

We specialise in performance measures and KPIs (and not many people do), so that's why we can help you in ways that others can't, particularly in:

  • measuring even the most intangible and fluffy results to make them easier for you to manage
  • keeping the costs of collecting and reporting data to a minimum, so it is more like a wise investment than an unavoidable cost
  • showing you how to see the signals in your performance data, so you waste less time reacting to problems that aren't really there, and don't miss problems that are really there
  • helping you work out how to improve your business processes, to improve all aspects of your business's performance (and success)
  • involving your staff so that they are motivated to be part of improving the business, and know how to keep it going without continued reliance on external consultants

our value proposition: informed decision making is both a technical and human process

Informed decision making is only in part about data and fact, numbers and charts. It’s also about a change inside ourselves that opens us more to seeking, interpreting and using objective information, before we give in to our fixation to find solutions. Performance measurement is only in part about balance sheets, scorecards and computer systems. It’s also about changing how we define what our organisations should do in society, how we seek information about organisational performance and how we allow that information to show us how to change our organisations in the best way we can. Stacey works with her partners at the leading edge of business performance measurement to:

  • bring together knowledge from many inter-related fields of organisational change to give you abilities and insights about organisational performance from a technical perspective and a human perspective

  • create concrete and practical models, techniques and tools that make the process of performance measurement simpler and to play a more useful role in how you and your team influence your organisation’s success

  • work with you in a way that starts from your own knowledge and experiences in organisational performance measurement and challenges you to more clearly understand what you are really trying to achieve, for yourself, your team and the organisation as a whole, through measurement

our vision: organisations making better informed decisions that benefit the world

We want to help the organisations of our societies make their decisions using enough objective information, so that the lives of people affected by that organisation are continually made better, and don’t cause unfair and unwanted consequences for other people and the whole-Earth system. In working toward that vision, Stacey and her partners will:

  • be actively involved with organisations and movements that operate on global human rights and environmental issues, at both local and global levels

  • work with people that are working on how technology can bring simple solutions to global scale problems at the same time as broadening the worldviews of people

back

our values: equality, responsibility, wisdom, new order

We are about taking authority, and encouraging others to take authority, for how our organisations affect the beauty, dignity and balance in our world, now and far into the future. Stacey's values, and the values of those that she partners with, are that:

  • all people are equal, having the same right to be heard, to make mistakes, to learn, to express who they are without judgment

  • we must take responsibility for the consequences of our actions, for how those actions (or non-actions) impact on the rights of others and the state of the planet, both now and in the future

  • the search for wisdom or truth, to find the knowledge that gives us more influence over what our organisations contribute to the societies and ecosystems of which they are an integrated part

  • we are our organisations, and as such we are the only people that can transform our organisations so they better serve the needs of our societies and ecosystems
