Overview:
Without hesitation I can say that the primary reason that people struggle to find meaningful performance measures is that their strategy is poorly designed and poorly articulated. In other words, their goals and objectives are not clear enough, not sensible enough, not specific enough to be measurable in a meaningful way.
Here's some of what you'll learn as I interview Balanced Scorecard Master Professional, Dr Michael Court of Balanced Scorecard Australia about what it takes to design a strategy that is measure-worthy and measurable:
1. Why do people struggle with measuring strategy?
2. Which strategy problems make it so hard to measure meaningfully?
3. What are the features of a strong strategy?
4. How do you design a strong strategy?
5. Where does meaningful measurement fit into a strong strategy?
