This is a case study about the Area Agency on Aging at the Denver Regional Council of Governments (DRCOG) use of XmR charts. It’s by Kirsti Klaverkamp and Jerry Stigall, of Denver, Colorado.

XmR charts are the only tool I use to display my performance measures. They’re just so insanely useful. They tell the truth, and make interpretation and decision-making loads faster and easier.

We measure to improve, and the XmR chart is a crucial link between the measuring and improving. DRCOG are experiencing more of this now, since starting to use these insightful charts in their Call Center.
